The 15.F4.C1E-4M00 frequency inverter is manufactured by KEB as part of the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. This compact drive converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable output that lets an automation controller regulate motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and similar equipment. A built-in brake transistor allows the DC link to absorb regenerated energy during rapid deceleration, so external braking resistors can be switched safely without overstressing the bus capacitors.
The inverter draws a nominal input current of 26.5 A from the supply and delivers a nominal output current of 24 A to the motor, showing only modest conversion losses inside the power stage. Under these conditions, the unit supplies up to 17 kVA of apparent power, which is sufficient for constant-torque applications across the speed range. For short-term overloads, it can energize motors rated as high as 11 kW; this limit depends on the thermal capacity of the IGBT module and the heat sink. The housing carries a protection rating of IP20, so it must be mounted inside an enclosed panel but does not require additional gasketing against finger contact or dust.
A maximum mains fuse of 35 A safeguards the input circuit, while the aluminum chassis keeps total mass to only 3.5 kg, simplifying vertical rail installation. Cabinet depth is limited because the housing projects just 200 mm from the mounting plane, and its 130 mm width and 275 mm height leave space for wiring ducts.
