Product Description:

The 15.F4.C1E-4001 is a frequency inverter built by KEB within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase supply into a variable output that lets an induction motor match process requirements for speed and torque. The unit is applied in conveyor sections, pump stations, and general machinery where controlled acceleration and braking are important. As a member of the mid-range frame class, it interfaces directly with upstream automation controllers and downstream motors while maintaining the compact dimensions preferred inside standard control cabinets. Parameter access is handled through an onboard keypad or serial interface for setup and service.

It accepts a 3-phase mains supply and draws a nominal input current of 26.5 A through power lugs suited for 6 mm² line cross-section conductors. Internally, the drive can deliver an output nominal current of 24 A, which corresponds to 17 kVA of apparent power and supports motors up to 11 kW of mechanical output. Two analog inputs and one analog output allow proportional speed, torque, or process value exchange, while four digital inputs and one digital output handle start, direction, or fault signals. The control terminals sit on a separate board to isolate logic wiring from power modules and to simplify field retrofits.

For protective coordination, the inverter pairs with a 35 A gG mains fuse, and it will operate without derating up to 2000 m installation altitude. Eleven parameter groups organize the control menu, and 8 complete parameter sets can be stored so the drive can switch between motor or process configurations without manual reentry. Two integral relay outputs provide galvanically isolated status or alarm contacts, and the housing carries an IP20 rating that restricts application to closed enclosures with controlled airflow.
