Product Description:
The 15.F4.C0G-3420 Combivert Frequency Inverter is one of the new models of frequency inverters manufactured and assembled by the KEB company. The power circuit of this inverter consists of a mains rectifier, a direct current link and the inverter itself at the output. This power circuit helps to carry out its main function which is to supply alternating current at pulsatile intervals to a three-phase motor.
Only three-phase AC motor designs are compatible with this industrial motor. The operation of other electric consumers with the 15.F4.C0G-3420 frequency inverter is not allowed as this can lead to machine damage. The inverter works by constantly converting direct current to alternating and vice versa. There is a DC-link capacitor integrated into this product; it is built to smooth out fluctuations in the Direct Current-voltage and provide a stable output for the inverter. In addition, during the initial charging phase of the capacitor, there is a risk of high inrush currents that could damage the rectifier or trip input fuses. To prevent this, a resistor is included in the power circuit to limit the charging current to safe levels. Once the capacitor is fully charged, the resistor is bypassed by a relay system, ensuring that it only operates during the start-up phase.
The 15.F4.C0G-3420 Combivert frequency inverter also features a 3-phase input configuration. This configuration allows for efficient power handling and balanced voltage for industrial applications. The frequency inverter uses 400 volts and is compatible with medium-voltage power motors. Its 4 Kilohertz clock frequency provides an accurate switching control. This clock frequency operates by defining the rate at which the output alternating current voltage cycles when the inverter is functioning.
