Product Description:
The 15.F4.C0G-3420 frequency inverter is produced by KEB within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. As an AC drive, it converts fixed utility power into variable voltage and frequency for asynchronous or synchronous motors used in material-handling, pumping, and general process equipment. By matching motor speed to load requirements, the unit helps reduce energy consumption and mechanical stress in automated lines. The model is intended for panel mounting inside electrical cabinets and interfaces with upstream PLCs for start, stop, and speed reference commands.
The drive connects to a three-phase supply and accepts a nominal input range from 305 to 500 V. This range allows the same inverter to operate on both 380 V and 480 V plant networks without tap changes. When fully loaded, its power section delivers 24 A of output current, providing an apparent power capacity of 17 kVA at the motor terminals. The design supports machines with a rated shaft power of up to 11 kW, making it suitable for medium-frame pumps or conveyors driven by standard IEC motors. The carrier frequency is fixed at 4 kHz, which helps limit audible noise while keeping switching losses manageable.
The electronics operate within a temperature range of -10 to 45 °C, allowing use in most production facilities without additional cooling. An IP20 housing provides protection against accidental contact after the inverter is mounted inside an enclosure. Operation is permitted at up to 95% relative humidity, provided that condensation does not occur. The power stage belongs to the 400 V class and is suitable for typical European three-phase mains supplies. The unit uses a G-size chassis and compact control mode. It also includes a standard fieldbus port and is supplied without integrated accessories, which reduces the amount of internal equipment that must be accommodated during panel installation.
