Product Description:
The 14.F4.F1E-4R05 is a frequency inverter manufactured by KEB for the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. Classified by KEB as a COMBIVERT F4 unit, it is installed in automation panels to regulate induction motor speed and torque through field-oriented vector control. The compact AC drive is suitable for conveyors, pumps, and machining centers that operate from a three-phase industrial supply.
The inverter is designed for a three-phase nominal input of 400 V AC at 50/60 Hz and draws a nominal line current of 18.1 A. Internally, the power section switches at a rated operating frequency of 8 kHz, producing a controlled output with a continuous current capacity of 16.5 A. At this current, the unit can deliver 11 kVA to the motor terminals, and the feeder can use a mains fuse rated up to 25 A. The front terminal block accepts supply conductors up to 4 mm². The housing has an IP20 protection rating, so it must be mounted inside a ventilated electrical enclosure. An integrated braking transistor controls the dissipation of regenerated energy through a suitable braking circuit during rapid deceleration. The inverter supports shielded motor cables up to 100 m long for electromagnetic compatibility.
The E-size enclosure is 275 mm tall and has 7 mm mounting holes. Its layout allows field cabling without additional side clearance. The inverter can control up to 7.5 kW of rated motor power while maintaining full performance within an ambient temperature range of -10 to 45 °C. It can also operate in noncondensing atmospheres with relative humidity up to 95%. Line reactors or filters can be added externally when required. The integrated braking circuit and vector-control algorithm support the standard duty cycles commonly encountered in general-purpose machinery.
