The 13.F4.C3D-4000/1.4 inverter is produced by KEB as a member of the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a variable-frequency output that regulates asynchronous motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and processing equipment. By adjusting voltage and frequency together, the unit allows automation controllers to match motor torque to changing load profiles while avoiding mechanical throttling devices.
The drive uses the Compact control mode, with regulation routines executed internally without expansion boards to minimize panel depth. The enclosure follows the Compact D-size format, so cable routing and mounting hole positions remain consistent with other F4 modules of similar power. It supplies up to 5.5 kW of electrical power at the motor terminals, providing the capacity needed for compatible industrial motors and machinery. The thermal design supports ambient temperatures from -10 to 45 °C, allowing installation in many indoor production environments.
