Product Description:
The 13.F4.C0G-4G01 is an AC drive produced by KEB within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed mains power into a regulated, variable-frequency output that lets production machinery adjust speed and torque in real time. Typical roles include pump modulation, conveyor indexing, and spindle control in fabrication lines, where precise motor management improves cycle consistency and lowers energy demand. The compact design installs on DIN rail or back-panel mounting plates, integrating control logic, power semiconductors, and fieldbus interfaces in one enclosure.
The drive accepts a 3-phase supply at 400 V AC, drawing a nominal input of 13.2 A when the coupled motor operates at its design point. Internally, an IGBT bridge and sine-wave filter convert this energy to provide up to 8.3 kVA of apparent power on the output. That rating supports induction or permanent-magnet machines whose mechanical demand does not exceed 5.5 kW. These electrical limits affect cable cross-section, fuse sizing, and thermal loading inside the control cabinet, so feeder capacity can be matched to actual operating requirements rather than oversized.
The control stage can raise output frequency to 1600 Hz, enabling high-speed tooling without the need for mechanical gear multiplication. The drive provides a continuous line current capability of 12 A, giving it adequate headroom for short acceleration ramps while remaining thermally stable. The inverter remains functional in ambient air with up to 95% relative humidity, and its housing carries an IP20 ingress rating that calls for installation inside a protected cabinet. When a shielded motor line of up to 100 m is routed between the inverter and the motor, conducted emissions and switching noise stay within limits laid out for industrial environments.
