The 13.F4.CED-3410 is an AC frequency inverter manufactured by KEB and included in the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It conditions fixed plant power for variable-speed control of induction motors used in material-handling and HVAC applications. The unit interfaces with three-phase machinery and converts constant line frequency into a commanded output waveform that matches process demand. This control method helps the motor respond more smoothly when operating conditions change during a production cycle. Electromagnetic compatibility complies with EN 61800-3, and the drive is assigned climatic category 3K3 for cabinet environments that are free of condensation but subject to moderate temperature changes.
The inverter accepts a 400 VAC line supply within normal grid tolerances. Compatible line frequencies of 50/60 Hz allow use on common utility systems, with a tolerance of ±2 Hz for line variation. Under nominal conditions, the front end draws 13.2 A. The power stage can deliver 12 A to the motor terminals for continuous operation, and the maximum motor rating is 5.5 kW. Upstream protection uses a 20 A mains fuse for severe faults, and a shielded motor cable can be routed up to 100 m to meet emitted-noise limits.
