Product Description:
The 13.F4.C1G-3480 is an AC frequency inverter produced by KEB as part of the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. Classified by the manufacturer as a COMBIVERT F4 unit, it is installed between a three-phase mains supply and an induction motor to regulate speed, torque, and direction in automated machinery and conveying lines. Its compact design and integrated braking transistor allow the drive to manage deceleration energy without additional braking electronics, supporting reliable process control in industrial automation.
The inverter accepts an input voltage range of 305–500 V and is wired directly to a three-phase supply. At full load, it draws 13.2 A, while the power section can deliver 12 A of continuous output current to the motor terminals, corresponding to an apparent output of 8.3 kVA. The switching devices operate at a carrier frequency of 16 kHz, which minimizes audible noise and improves current waveform quality. Two analog inputs, four digital inputs, and one digital output provide basic process interlocking, while a single analog output returns speed or torque feedback to a controller. Eight parameter sets can be stored internally, so different motor or product configurations can be recalled without reprogramming. A standard fieldbus interface provides network connectivity to higher-level control systems.
The drive controls motors up to 5.5 kW within the 400 V class. Its open housing carries an IP20 rating, requiring installation inside a protected electrical cabinet. The mechanical frame follows the G-size outline used across the series, simplifying panel layout when multiple units are mounted side by side. Permitted ambient conditions range from -10 °C to 45 °C and allow up to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, supporting operation in most production environments. Two relay outputs are provided for contactor control or fault signaling.
