12.F4.S1D-4A00 is an industrial frequency inverter. It is a product of KEB Automation. It is designed for rack mounting. The inverter mounts in the vertical orientation. It is equipped with a heat sink and an internal cooling fan. Adjacent mounting is allowed. However KEB requires minimum 100 millimeters spacing on the top and bottom side of the installed inverters. The unit has IP20 ingress protection rating. This rating means that the inverter is not safe from dust or moisture ingress. Therefore is must be installed inside a suitable cabinet that provides the required level of ingress protection. The inverter must also be protected from corrosive and aggressive gases. If required, an explosion protected housing can be used to house the inverter. The input voltage range for the 12.F4.S1D-4A00 inverter is from 305 to 460 Volts AC.
It only works with three-phase AC systems. At 440 Volts the input current is 5 Amp. The output current is 9.5 Amps at 440 Volts and 7.6 Amps at 480 Volts. Rated output power of the inverter is 6.6 kVA. It can be used with industrial motors having power rating of up to 4 kilowatts. Ambient conditions specified for inverter operation include -10 to 45 degrees Celsius and maximum 95% relative humidity. The storage temperature is from -25 to 70 degrees Celsius.
