Product Description:
The 12.F4.C1D-4M00 is a three-phase AC frequency inverter produced by KEB within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power to a variable-frequency output so induction or synchronous motors can be regulated for speed or torque in automated machinery, conveyors, or pump stations. By integrating drive, control, and protective functions in one compact housing, the device simplifies panel layout and supports coordinated motion in industrial plants. This type of control lets the connected motor match process demand more closely than direct line-operated operation.
For electrical interfacing, the inverter accepts three-phase power across an input range of 305 to 500 VAC at a standard network frequency of 50/60 Hz. Within that range, it draws a rated current of 9.5 A and delivers a continuous apparent power of 6.6 kVA to the motor terminals. Compliance with EN 61800-3 supports installation where conducted and radiated emissions must be controlled. The control platform is compact, so keypad access, parameterization, and fieldbus options are arranged within a narrow frame that helps minimize cabinet width. Three input phases are processed by an internal rectifier, and a pulse-width-modulated inverter section produces the requested output waveform without requiring an external braking resistor.
The drive supports motor outputs up to 4.0 kW and has an enclosure rating of IP20, making it suitable for dust-protected switchboards with forced-air circulation. Its design meets climatic category 3K3, which supports operation in control rooms with moderate humidity and vibration. An internal brake transistor dissipates regenerated energy during rapid deceleration to help prevent DC-bus overvoltage without extra hardware. The allowable ambient range is -10 to +45 °C, and non-operating storage is permitted from -25 to +70 °C, so the inverter can be installed near heat-generating equipment and stored in colder warehouse conditions when not in use.
