The 10.F4.S3D-4000 is a frequency inverter produced by KEB and offered within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. Installed between the incoming AC supply and an induction motor, the unit converts fixed-frequency power into a variable voltage and frequency output so the connected motor can run at adjustable speed and torque in automated conveyors, pumps, and general-purpose drives. An internal braking transistor and radio-frequency interference filter are already installed, which simplifies panel layout and reduces the need for external components. Designed for cabinet mounting, it connects through screw terminals sized for industrial conductors.
The inverter belongs to the 400 V voltage class and is fed from a 3-phase AC line. Its power stage switches with an insulated-gate bipolar transistor carrier of 8 kHz, producing smooth current waveforms that minimize acoustic noise in the motor. Under continuous duty, the unit can source 5.8 A of output current, equivalent to an apparent output of 4 kVA. On the supply side, it draws a nominal 6.4 A. Shield connection hardware is provided, and control wiring shares the same ground reference as the chassis to shorten loop areas and improve electromagnetic compatibility.
