The 10.F4.S1D-4A01 is a frequency inverter engineered by KEB as part of the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. Designed for closed-loop operation of three-phase AC induction motors on production lines and material-handling machines, the unit modulates output voltage and frequency to match process demands and reduce energy use. An integrated brake transistor lets the drive dissipate regenerated energy from rapid deceleration, while an internal fan keeps the power electronics within safe thermal limits during continuous service.
Its mechanical envelope is compact for cabinet mounting: the housing spans 90 mm in width, reaches 240 mm in height, and extends 160 mm in depth. Installation is intended in a vertical position, supported by baseplate holes sized at 5 mm for direct fastening to a back panel. Maintaining a 50 mm clearance at the front permits unobstructed airflow for the integrated fan and provides access to connectors and the keypad. These dimensions allow multiple inverters to be arranged side by side without exceeding typical enclosure depths, and the vertical orientation channels warm air upward to match the fan's flow pattern.
Operating and storage limits should be observed when the drive is installed or moved. Continuous running is allowed from -10 °C to 45 °C; outside this range derating or supplemental cooling is required. For storage and transport, the electronics withstand up to 70 °C and down to -25 °C without loss of function. After the mains supply is removed, internal capacitors need a discharge wait of 5 min before access to power terminals, a safety interval that prevents residual energy shocks. The inverter should be mounted where airflow is not blocked and where the terminal area remains accessible after power is removed.
