The 10.F4.C1D-4A01 is a variable-speed drive produced by KEB within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. This standalone inverter converts fixed mains power into a controllable output for induction or synchronous machinery, allowing precise regulation in conveyor, fan, and pump applications. By adjusting voltage and frequency, the unit matches the torque demand of a connected motor, which helps reduce energy consumption and mechanical stress during acceleration, steady-state running, and braking. The product integrates power electronics, signal processing, and drive software in a single compact enclosure.
KEB classifies the drive’s control section as Compact, meaning the operator terminal, logic, and power stage share the same enclosure and do not require external control modules. Internally, a DC voltage link stores rectified line energy and delivers it to the output bridge, while the included braking transistor diverts excess link voltage to an external resistor during fast deceleration. The inverter can modulate a fundamental frequency up to 409.5875 Hz, which supports high-speed spindle or blower duties. Its resolution of 0.0125 Hz allows fine speed adjustment at very low operating speeds. Housing design code D identifies the physical frame size and sets the mounting hole pattern and heat-sink geometry for cabinet installation.
