Product Description:
The 09.F4.S1D-BR30 is an AC frequency inverter manufactured by KEB for the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a variable-frequency and variable-voltage waveform, allowing machine controllers to regulate motor speed, torque, and process throughput. The unit is suitable for conveyors, pumps, and small material-handling stations where electronic speed regulation can replace mechanical throttling. Its compact format allows it to be integrated into distributed control systems and space-constrained electrical cabinets.
It is supplied in a compact size D housing that fits densely populated panels while leaving space for wiring ducts. The inverter is rated for a continuous apparent power of 2.8 kVA, supporting compatible motors under normal operating conditions. Its maximum motor rating is 1.5 kW, making the drive suitable for common IEC motor frame sizes without unnecessary oversizing. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, which guards the electronics against accidental contact but requires installation in a clean cabinet for protection from particulates. Reliable operation is maintained across an ambient temperature range of -10 to 45 °C, allowing the model to run in unheated workshops and climate-controlled production areas within those limits.
For dynamic stops, the built-in braking transistor diverts regenerative energy to an external resistor network, helping prevent excessive DC-bus voltage. The drive uses a preconfigured standard control mode for routine motor regulation and operating commands. System integration is supported by a standard fieldbus option, which provides basic network connectivity and allows higher-level protocol adapters to be added through optional plug-in cards. The assembly tolerates ambient moisture levels of up to 95% relative humidity without condensation. This moisture tolerance supports operation in facilities where ventilation conditions vary by season, provided that water does not condense on the inverter or its electrical connections.
