Product Description:

The 07.F4.S0C-B002 frequency inverter is produced by KEB as part of the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts a fixed single-phase AC input into a variable three-phase output so synchronous or induction motors can start smoothly, run at controlled speeds, and match changing process demand. By modulating voltage and frequency, it can reduce mechanical stress during acceleration and help lower energy use in routine operation. The device is intended for control cabinet installation where compact IP20 equipment is suitable for conveyors, pumps, and other small automated systems.

On the supply side, the inverter accepts a single-phase mains source of 200–264 VAC and tracks utility frequency at 50 or 60 Hz with a tolerance of ±2 Hz. Internally, the unit reconstructs a three-leg output bridge that delivers three-phase power to the motor. Output frequency is adjustable across a range of 0–409.58 Hz, which supports a broad speed range for standard 2-pole, 4-pole, or 6-pole machines. Continuous thermal capacity supports a motor line current of 4 A, which corresponds to 1.6 kVA at rated voltage. To reduce audible noise and motor heating, the IGBTs can switch at up to 8 kHz, although higher carrier settings also increase internal heat. Cable terminations accept conductors up to 2.5 mm², and upstream protection should use a 20 A gG fuse.

During acceleration, the drive can supply a momentary peak current of 8.0 A, helping the motor overcome inertial loads without nuisance tripping. Even at this surge level, the converter dissipates only 50 W internally. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from -10 to +45 °C, and the open-style housing carries an IP20 rating, so the unit must be installed inside a closed panel. Installation is permitted up to 2000 m altitude, and storage down to -25 °C is allowed when humidity remains noncondensing.
