Product Description:
The 07.F4.S0C-5003 frequency inverter is produced by KEB within the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It is intended for machines that have only a single-phase utility supply but still need three-phase motor control. By rectifying the input line and modulating the output, the unit supplies variable voltage and frequency to match changing torque and speed demands. It is suitable for pumps, fans, and small material-handling drives, and its compact housing helps it fit into existing control panels during retrofits. Because it generates a three-phase output from a single-phase source, it can also help modernize older installations without changing the building supply.
The unit accepts a single-phase input of 180 to 264 VAC at 50/60 Hz through terminals sized for 2.5 mm² copper conductors. Upstream protection can use a 20 A fuse, which matches the drive’s inrush and continuous current requirements. Internally, the PWM stage switches at up to 8 kHz and can control motors rated up to 0.75 kW. The continuous output current is 4.0 A, and the adjustable output frequency range of 0 to 409.58 Hz allows both standard speed control and oversynchronous operation for high-speed spindles. Total power loss is limited to 50 W, so only moderate enclosure airflow is required.
The inverter operates in ambient temperatures from -10 to 45 °C without derating, and it can be stored from -25 to 70 °C without damage to internal components. During short acceleration periods, the drive can supply 8.0 A for up to 30 seconds before returning to its nominal current level. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit should be installed inside a control cabinet that is free of conductive dust. Because IP20 does not protect against direct exposure to dirt or moisture, panel installation is necessary for normal operation. This layout suits enclosed industrial equipment where stable motor speed control is required.
