The 07.F4.S0C-1220 is a frequency inverter manufactured by KEB and assigned to the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It receives single-phase mains power, modulates that energy into a controlled polyphase output, and therefore allows variable-speed operation of asynchronous motors in automated equipment. The device provides a compact interface between low-power supply networks and motion tasks that require dynamic adjustment of shaft speed and torque.
Incoming analog commands pass through an input stage with a resistance of 56 kΩ, so control sources experience only minimal loading. The inverter can deliver 1.6 kVA continuously, corresponding to a nominal output of 4.0 A across its three output terminals. For rapid accelerations, it supports a peak of 8.0 A, and the internal IGBT bridge can toggle at up to 8 kHz, a switching rate that reduces motor acoustic noise and current ripple. Electrical architecture is based on a single-phase supply and a three-phase output, and wiring is landed on terminals that accept 2.5 mm² conductors. Control electronics consume about 50 W of power that is not passed to the motor. A 10 V reference rail capable of 4 mA simplifies external potentiometer hookup, and a form-C relay contact rated 30 V DC at 1 A supports fault or ready signaling to higher-level controls.
The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it must be mounted inside a cabinet yet remains simple to ventilate. Protective varnish allows operation where ambient moisture reaches 95 % relative humidity, provided condensation is avoided. The drive is sized for motors up to 0.75 kW, and upstream protection may employ a line fuse limited to 20 A to coordinate with the inverter’s bus capacitors. Because energy is distributed over its polyphase output, thermal stress on each stator winding is moderated during continuous service.
