Product Description:
The 07.F4.C3D-4M00 is a COMBIVERT F4 frequency inverter produced by KEB for the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output for controlling induction motors. This capability allows industrial controllers to regulate motor speed and torque, improving process efficiency and protecting mechanical components in automated plants.
The inverter is built in a compact D-size housing that fits densely populated control cabinets while supplying up to 0.75 kW of rated motor power. An internal Autoboost function raises the output voltage during acceleration to overcome motor inertia, and a selectable hardware current limit helps prevent overcurrent faults under heavy load. Users can store and recall eight independent parameter sets, making it easy to switch between machine configurations without rewriting each register. Protection against accidental contact is provided by an IP20 enclosure. The compact control mode uses sensorless vector algorithms with slip compensation to maintain shaft speed as the load varies. DriveCom-compatible communications connect the unit to higher-level PLCs, while the standard fieldbus option, two programmable analog inputs, one analog output, four digital inputs, one digital output, and two relay outputs provide flexible local interfaces.
An integrated filter and braking transistor limit conducted emissions and manage regenerated energy, reducing the need for additional external hardware in many installations. The electronics remain stable from -10 to 45 °C, and conformal-coated circuit boards tolerate up to 95% relative humidity without condensation in lightly ventilated enclosures. A dedicated power-off function safely de-energizes the motor during emergency stops. Automatic slip compensation helps maintain the commanded speed after power is restored. The compact housing supports installation where cabinet space is limited, while the available communication and input/output connections accommodate centralized and local control arrangements.
