The 07.F4.C1D-4A02 inverter is produced by KEB for the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It is an AC drive that converts fixed-frequency mains power into variable output voltage and frequency to regulate induction motor speed in machine tools, material-handling stations, and pump systems. By modulating the motor supply, the unit allows an automation system to match motor torque to the load without mechanical throttling. This type of electronic control can improve energy efficiency and reduce unnecessary mechanical wear during variable-speed operation.
The drive uses a Compact control mode that presents a reduced parameter set for straightforward setup while still allowing speed and torque adjustments through analog or fieldbus commands. Its enclosure follows the Compact D-size housing format, so the terminal spacing, mounting-hole pattern, and airflow path match other D-size units in the platform. A built-in braking transistor allows the inverter to redirect regenerated energy to an external resistor during rapid deceleration, preventing excessive DC-bus voltage.
