The 19.F1.P20-3449 is a frequency converter produced by KEB within the F1 Combivert Frequency Converters series. The unit translates fixed-frequency AC power into a variable-frequency output for industrial motors, allowing speed and torque regulation in conveyors, pumps, and general motion axes. In plant installations, it fits inside electrical cabinets and connects to automation controllers, reducing reliance on mechanical throttling while preserving process accuracy. Its variable output allows connected motors to respond to changing process demands without requiring direct operation at the fixed mains frequency.
The converter connects to a supply in the 400 V class and accepts a three-phase mains supply. Under those conditions, it can deliver up to 42 kVA of apparent power with a continuous output of 60 A at the motor terminals, supporting machines with a drive size of up to 30 kW. A dedicated control card draws only 250 mA, separating logic functions from the power section. Because the braking transistor is absent, excess regenerative energy must be handled by external braking equipment or returned to the line through a suitable regenerative system. The built-in interference filter limits conducted electrical noise, and the allowable line-to-ground voltage reaches 300 V. Power connections accommodate copper conductors with cross-sectional areas of up to 25 mm².
The thermal design assumes power dissipation of 1400 W, so the cabinet must provide sufficient airflow or another suitable method of heat removal. For precise torque control, the inverter can operate at a pulse frequency of up to 8 kHz. Mains protection is limited to a maximum fuse rating of 80 A to protect the circuit against fault currents. The housing has an IP20 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for closed cabinets that prevent accidental finger contact while relying on external measures to control dust. An analog input open-circuit voltage of 8 V supports sensor diagnostics. The PTC trip threshold of 1500 Ω allows connection to standard motor thermistors, enabling the converter to stop operation before excessive winding temperatures damage the motor.
