14.F1.R30-3489 is a frequency inverter designed and produced by KEB Automation. It is deployed in industrial application for motor speed control. The inverter must be connected to 3-phase AC input. A rectifier stage converts input AC to DC. This intermediate DC voltage is converted to controlled AC output by an inverter. The frequency inverter uses PWM or pulse-width modulation to control parameters of the AC output. A motor connected to the inverter output responds to changes in amplitude and frequency of its input by changing its speed, position, and torque. The converter is configurable and provides operators with a powerful solution for industrial automation requirements. Input voltage range for the 14.F1.R30-3489 frequency inverter is from 380 to 460 Volts AC. The AC line frequency can range from 50 to 60 Hertz.
Power output capacity of the unit is 11 kVA and it can deliver maximum 7.5 kilowatts to the connected motor. Rated current at the output of the 14.F1.R30-3489 inverter is 16.5 Amps and the output voltage can vary from 0 to the input voltage. Rated output is only possible when the ambient conditions comply with KEB recommendations. For operation, KEB recommends ambient temperatures that range from -10 to 45 degrees Celsius and maximum 95% relative humidity without condensation. Suitable spacing must be provided around the installed unit to ensure unobstructed airflow. For storage, KEB recommends -25 to 70 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. With an IP20 rated housing, the inverter is not safe from water or dust ingress. Therefore it can be used either indoors or when mounted inside a suitable cabinet. To prevent accidents and injuries, only qualified personnel should handle the KEB frequency inverter.
