The brake coil is designed for a nominal supply of 24 V DC, and at 20 °C it draws 0.83 A, equating to a thermal input of 20 W. Because the copper winding resistance rises to 37.97 Ω at 100 °C, the current under high internal temperature drops to 0.63 A, reducing heat generation while holding torque is maintained. A 100 % duty cycle allows the unit to remain continuously energized without mandatory cool-down intervals.
