The 30.E6.T60-1150 is an electromagnetic compatibility filter built by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. As an input accessory for frequency inverters and similar drive equipment, it attenuates conducted interference between the mains and the converter so that nearby sensors, communication links, and safety circuits remain unaffected. By combining differential-mode filtering with a series choke, the device allows three-phase automation cabinets to meet industrial and facility EMC limits without requiring separate line reactors.
The filter accepts line voltages from 0–528 V, so it can be wired to common 400 V European or 480 V North American networks. A continuous load of 600 A can flow through the busbars, making the unit suitable for multi-drive groups or very large single inverters. Mains frequency compatibility is maintained at 50/60 Hz with a ±2 Hz tolerance, and the design supports TN, TT, or IT grounding systems. The integrated mains choke has an impedance of 4% Uk, limiting voltage drop while smoothing steep converter current edges. Common-mode leakage current is limited to 6.4 mA at 400 V, which helps upstream residual-current devices avoid nuisance trips. An overvoltage category III rating confirms that the insulation spacing is suitable for fixed industrial distribution, and dedicated studs accommodate M12 ring terminals.
For surge suppression on cable lengths up to 50 m, the filter carries a C1/50 m classification and a C2/50 m classification, supporting use with sensitive machinery. Installation requires a mounting torque of 80 Nm on the base screws to keep the inductive components secure during fault currents. Steady operation produces only 50 W of internal power loss, reducing the need for forced ventilation in crowded panels. Despite its high current capacity, the assembly weighs 40.5 kg. Appropriate lifting equipment can support safe placement while preserving space for parallel contactors and protective devices inside the cabinet.
