Product Description:
The 30.E4.T60-1051 EMC line filter is produced by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Intended for three-phase drive installations, the unit is connected between the inverter and the mains to suppress conducted emissions and route high-frequency disturbance currents to protective earth. By providing low-impedance paths for common-mode noise, the filter supports compliance with industrial electromagnetic compatibility limits and helps protect adjacent equipment in automation cabinets. It handles three phases plus protective earth and is intended for high-power installations.
The filter has a rated continuous current of 650 A, allowing it to sit upstream of large inverters without saturating its magnetic components. Series copper paths exhibit a low direct current resistance of 0.001 Ω per phase, so the voltage drop remains negligible even at maximum load. The filter tolerates supply systems up to 528 V line to line, matching common 500 V class drives. During operation, iron and copper losses result in approximately 50 W of heat that must be removed through cabinet airflow. The design meets electromagnetic emission category C2, which is used for industrial environments where equipment is hard-wired rather than connected through plug-in cords.
For safety and installation, the insulation strength is verified by high-voltage testing. Phase to protective earth withstands 2700 VDC for 2 s, while phase to phase is verified at 1000 VDC for the same duration. Under normal conditions, the filter contributes only 60 mA of leakage, which remains below the 220 mA maximum limit stated for fault scenarios. All components are rated for ambient temperatures up to 45 °C, and performance is maintained with motor cables up to 30 m in length when connected through the M10 busbar input and grounded by the M12 screw. The assembled unit weighs 21.5 kg, which supports rigid mounting inside floor-standing enclosures.
