Product Description:
The 28.E6.T60-1150 is a three-phase electromagnetic compatibility filter manufactured by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between the mains supply and power electronic converters, the unit attenuates high-frequency common-mode and differential-mode noise so that automation cabinets can meet emission limits. By providing a low-impedance path for interference currents, it protects downstream drives and nearby control electronics while helping facilities pass conducted disturbance tests. The filter is intended for TN, TT, and IT utility systems operating at voltages up to 528 V.
Its nominal line-to-line voltage is 400 V, but the permissible input range of 0–528 V allows use on undersupplied or boosted networks without saturating the core. The continuous current capacity reaches 390 A, matching the requirements of medium-power inverters. The device withstands a momentary overload of 150% for sixty seconds to accommodate motor inrush and regenerative braking energy. It functions on three-phase grids operating at 50/60 Hz ±2 Hz, so frequency variations caused by generator sets are tolerated. The IP00 protection class requires installation inside a closed panel to prevent accidental contact with live parts.
The rectangular steel base measures 330 mm long and 984 mm wide, giving it a low profile that fits beneath busbars in large drive sections. Power cables or copper bars connect to an M12 terminal stud, providing a secure connection for high-current conductors. UL data provide a reduced current rating of 337 A at 480/277 V for use in North American electrical systems. Internal power dissipation reaches 50 W, and the enclosure airflow must remove the resulting heat during operation. The unit has a total mass of 38.2 kg, so the panel must include adequate support rails and appropriate lifting provisions for installation.
