The 28.E5.T60-7A00 is a DC-link electromagnetic compatibility filter manufactured by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Mounted between the rectifier stage and the inverter, it suppresses high-frequency noise that would otherwise return to the supply or radiate through motor leads. By keeping conducted emissions within industrial limits, the device helps drive systems satisfy plant-level requirements and protects nearby measurement or control electronics from switching interference.
The filter is rated for a nominal bus voltage of 565 VDC, and its laminated copper paths can carry a continuous current of 410 A. Attenuation covers the spectrum from 0.15 to 30 MHz, the range in which steep IGBT edges generate most differential-mode and common-mode disturbances. Dielectric spacing withstands a hipot test of 2772 V for 2 s, confirming the integrity of the insulation. Its C2 EMC classification indicates suitability for industrial networks supplied by a dedicated transformer. Additional line filters are unnecessary when the applicable installation requirements are observed.
Low copper loss is achieved with a winding resistance of 0.001 Ω per phase, limiting internal heating during continuous service. Additional operating limits include a maximum DC input of 840 V and a permitted motor cable length of 30 m. The filter uses two DC conductors, one positive and one negative, plus a protective earth conductor, and its insulation resistance to earth is 15 MΩ.
