Product Description:

The 28.E4.T60-1001 is an electromagnetic interference filter produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between a drive inverter and the three-phase supply, the unit attenuates conducted radio-frequency noise so that connected machinery can satisfy industrial EMC requirements. By limiting high-frequency emissions, the filter helps protect nearby sensors, fieldbus cables, and other sensitive automation electronics from disruptive common-mode currents.

The filter accepts a line potential of 400/480 VAC on a 3-phase network with a frequency range of 50/60 Hz ±10%. Its windings and busbars are sized for a nominal load of 410 A, allowing use with large inverters without excessive temperature rise. Dielectric spacing supports a maximum operating line voltage of 528 V, giving headroom for overvoltage events on lightly regulated mains. Displacement currents that bypass the load are limited to 60 mA, a level that remains below typical residual-current thresholds used in plant safety relays. Under full load, the copper and core generate only 50 W of heat, so cabinet ventilation demands remain modest. The device is rated to the C2 emission class, which suits environments where industrial equipment shares a common low-voltage distribution system.

The rectangular housing is 385 mm wide and 260 mm long, while a clamp height of 115 mm allows stacking with contactors on the same mounting plate. Two slotted feet with a mounting hole diameter of 12 mm facilitate secure bolting to backplanes, and power connections are made on an M10 terminal stud that accepts standard ring lugs. A permissible motor cable length of 30 m is supported without compromising attenuation characteristics. Total mass is 18.5 kg, so mechanical strain on thin sheet-metal panels remains acceptable when the filter is mounted in a cabinet next to the associated drive.
