Product Description:
The 27.E6.T60-1150 is an EMC line filter manufactured by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. The device is installed between the plant mains and variable-frequency drives or other switching power electronics to attenuate conducted emissions and improve conducted immunity. By limiting high-frequency noise, it helps machinery meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements on three-phase industrial networks. It is intended for cabinet mounting where high-current filtering is needed on 400 V distribution systems.
The filter is designed for three-phase supplies, with a rated input voltage of 400 V and a continuous current capacity of 315 A. During system transients, the circuitry tolerates a peak input of 550 V, while momentary overloads of up to 150% for 60 seconds can be carried without exceeding the thermal limit. Upstream protection should be coordinated with an IEC fuse rated at 355 A. The assembly is in overvoltage category III, so it can be wired directly to fixed-installation distribution panels. A mounting torque of 50 Nm secures the busbar terminals. The protective-earth stud accepts 35 Nm to maintain a low-impedance ground path.
The filter housing dissipates 50 W of heat at full load, so cabinet airflow must remove this heat. Its physical dimensions are 330 mm wide, 98 mm deep, and 695 mm high, allowing vertical placement on panel backplates beside large inverters. The steel enclosure weighs 28.2 kg, requiring adequate structural support during installation. Its ingress protection rating is IP00, meaning live parts are exposed and the unit must be installed inside a closed electrical enclosure. The clearance distances around the open terminals are suitable for category III insulation and help the filter withstand mains overvoltages. Properly tightened mounting bolts preserve the low-inductance path between the filter stages and chassis ground. This grounding path maintains consistent common-mode attenuation across the three-phase network during operation.
