Product Description:
The 27.E4.T60-U001 is a three-phase electromagnetic compatibility filter manufactured by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Intended for cabinet mounting in inverter-based drive systems, it sits on the line side of a converter to suppress differential-mode and common-mode noise that would otherwise propagate along the supply conductors. By presenting low impedance at 50/60 Hz and high impedance to high-frequency switching components, the filter helps machinery comply with electromagnetic emission standards and protects nearby sensors and communication links from interference.
It carries a continuous current rating of 330 A, making it suitable for high-power drives. The acceptable line voltage extends to 3 × 480 V (+10%), covering typical 400 V networks and permitted voltage tolerance. The coil windings introduce only 0.42 mΩ per phase of DC resistance, minimizing conduction losses during continuous operation. Insulation integrity is supported by withstand voltages of 2700 VDC from phase to ground and 2100 VDC from phase to phase. The touch-current contribution remains below 60 mA, allowing protective devices to be selected for the installation. The filter handles three power phases and a protective ground conductor across a rated frequency range of 50/60 Hz ±2%.
The housing measures 630 mm in length, 110 mm in width, and 240 mm in height, and its mass is 18 kg. Its bus bars accommodate conductors up to 95 mm², matching the upstream feeders used for the electrical load. Heat generated within the magnetic core does not exceed 75 W, limiting the thermal load placed on the enclosure. Safe operation is maintained at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C without forced ventilation. The cabinet layout must provide suitable electrical clearances around the bus bars and enough open space for naturally rising warm air. Secure mounting is also necessary to support the filter’s weight and prevent movement caused by vibration within the cabinet.
