Product Description:
The 25.E4.T60-1051 is an electromagnetic interference suppression filter manufactured by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. It is intended for installation ahead of variable-frequency drives or other power electronics so that conducted emissions from the drive do not return to the supply line. By attenuating high-frequency noise on a three-phase supply, the filter helps machine builders meet Class B limits for industrial environments while preserving compatibility with adjacent control hardware.
The filter is sized for a continuous line current of 250 A, allowing it to serve medium-power inverters without approaching thermal limits. Its input terminals accept up to 3 × 480 V (+5%), matching common 460 V plant feeds and permitting the usual tolerance on utility voltage. Line frequency compatibility covers 50/60 Hz, so the same unit can be used in facilities worldwide. The network connection uses 3 Ph + PE, giving symmetric attenuation on each phase while bonding internal capacitors to the protective earth conductor. Common-mode displacement to ground is low because leakage current is limited to 55 mA, a value that helps with residual-current-device coordination. When the filter operates at full load, the internal cores and windings convert about 50 W of power to heat, and this loss figure is used to size cabinet ventilation.
The enclosure spans 630 mm in width, extends 240 mm in depth, and weighs 16 kg, so it requires a dedicated mounting panel or shelf rather than simple DIN rail clips. Clearance is set by a 110 mm overall height, while a wire cross-section allowance of 70 mm² accommodates the copper needed for the rated current without excess temperature rise. An M10 PE stud provides a single-point ground connection, and operation is permitted up to 45 °C ambient so standard enclosure cooling is usually adequate. Recommended conductor routing and shield termination practices should be followed during installation.
