Product Description:
The 24.E6.T60-7B00 is a DC-link electromagnetic compatibility filter manufactured by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Mounted on the DC bus of a drive system, it suppresses differential and common-mode noise that would otherwise propagate along motor leads or back into the supply. In automated plants, this filtering preserves signal integrity for nearby sensors, helps installations satisfy emissions requirements, and allows long shielded-cable runs without derating the connected inverter.
The filter is designed for a rated input of 565 VDC and can carry a continuous line current of 200 A. Series copper paths introduce only 0.001 Ω of resistance per conductor, minimizing voltage drop between the drive capacitor bank and the inverter stage. Heat generated by internal inductors and capacitors is limited to 70 W under nominal load. The assembly is protected to IP20, so it must be installed inside a control cabinet. Its dielectric strength is verified with a high-potential test of 2772 V for two seconds between isolated sections, confirming adequate insulation margins for typical industrial DC-bus levels.
Under transient conditions, the unit accepts up to 840 VDC without damage and tolerates a temporary overload of 150 % for 60 seconds, supporting regenerative braking events or short production surges. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C; above this point, additional cooling or current reduction is required. The design accommodates two DC conductors and a protective ground conductor, and it connects to the machine ground through an M10 stud tightened to 35 Nm. Motor-side cable lengths can reach 100 m while meeting C2 emission limits, aided by a leakage current of only 3 mA. Line and load terminals accept busbar clamps that must be secured to 15 Nm to maintain low-impedance contact.
