Product Description:
The 23.E5.T60-1051 is an electromagnetic compatibility filter produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between a drive and the plant mains, it attenuates conducted high-frequency noise so that variable-speed inverters meet industrial emission limits. The unit belongs to the low-leakage IT-HF family, allowing it to be used on IT-grounded networks without exceeding permissible touch current.
This filter handles three input phases and carries a nominal current of 165 A while operating on supply lines rated at 400/480 VAC. It accepts the common utility spectrum of 50/60 Hz with a ±10 % tolerance, so the same model can be fitted worldwide. A leakage current of 48 mA keeps protective devices from nuisance tripping, and internal resistive elements dissipate a steady 60 W during full-load service. Suppression class C1 confirms that the component targets the most demanding industrial radio-interference limits. The windings accommodate 50 mm² conductors, and the low-leakage IT-HF topology maintains differential-mode attenuation without raising common-mode earth currents. With a maximum motor-cable length of 30 m allowed behind the associated inverter, the filter prevents reflected-wave voltage peaks from reaching the motor insulation.
Mechanical proportions simplify cabinet layout: the steel housing spans 419 mm in width, 64 mm in height, and 270 mm in total length. Its mounting flanges are drilled on a 385 mm span so the base can slide into standard back-panel hole patterns. At 16 kg, two technicians can position the enclosure without lifting equipment. Dielectric spacing supports mains systems up to 528 V, and the integral terminal blocks are rated for the same voltage class. When installed, cable runs to the motor may extend to 30 m before additional output chokes are required, allowing flexibility in machine layout while the filter maintains the specified C1 suppression degree.
