Product Description:
The industrial EMC filter 22.E6.T60-1050 is built by KEB and belongs to the Combiline EMC Filters series. It is installed between three-phase motor drives and the plant power supply to suppress conducted emissions and help machinery meet electromagnetic compatibility limits. By providing a controlled impedance path for high-frequency noise while passing line power with minimal loss, the unit protects nearby PLCs, sensors, and communication lines from interference originating on the drive side.
The filter is designed for a line voltage of 400 V and carries a continuous current of 126 A when operated on three-phase networks at 50/60 Hz. Ground leakage current is limited to 2.1 mA, reducing the likelihood that residual-current devices will trip during normal operation. For upstream protection, the metric gG fuse may be sized up to 160 A, while UL installations use Class J protection. The corresponding short-circuit withstand ratings are 30 kA and 10 kA, respectively. The unit supports overvoltage Category III installations and can sustain a 150% overload for 60 seconds, accommodating inrush and regeneration events from large inverters. Contamination class 3S2 permits installation in control cabinets containing nonconductive dust, and the three-phase topology maintains symmetrical phase impedance across the frequency range.
The filter can carry 105 A on 60 Hz systems operating at a North American line voltage of 480 V. Its input section tolerates transient peaks up to 550 V without insulation breakdown. Internal core and capacitor losses total 109 W, and enclosure airflow should remove this heat to control the internal temperature rise. The open-frame housing is rated IP20, providing protection against accidental finger contact with live parts while allowing a compact installation. The unit weighs 10.5 kg, which should be considered when selecting the mounting surface and cabinet supports.
