The 22.E4.T60-1051 is an EMC filter in the Combiline EMC Filters series produced by KEB. Designed for three-phase power networks, the device suppresses conducted interference between variable-frequency drives and the line supply, helping protect sensitive automation electronics downstream. It inserts controlled impedance and capacitance between each phase conductor and protective earth, which reduces high-frequency noise currents that can circulate through a cabinet. This supports cleaner power distribution where drives and control components share the same enclosure.
It carries a nominal load of 150 A, allowing placement upstream of high-current inverters without saturating its chokes. The input side tolerates up to 3 x 500 VAC, which covers common 400 V and 480 V plant supplies in industrial facilities. Compliance with EMC Class B means emission levels are suitable for residential and light industrial zones when installation rules are followed. Continuous service is supported up to 50 °C ambient, and operation above that point requires derating. Under rated conditions, internal losses reach 60 W, so the enclosure needs enough airflow or a heat sink to carry that heat away. Phase and protective-earth conductors terminate with M10 screws for low contact resistance on copper busbars.
The inductive path introduces only 0.002 Ω/phase of DC resistance, which helps keep voltage drop low at full load and limits unnecessary heating in the filter. Leakage current to earth is limited to 48 mA, remaining well below the model maximum of 322 mA during normal operation. Dielectric integrity is verified by a phase-to-protective-earth withstand of 2700 VDC for two seconds, while a separate 2150 VDC test covers phase-to-phase insulation. Shipping mass is 10 kg, permitting direct panel mounting without additional bracing in many cabinet layouts. The housing can be installed near the incoming line section without requiring complex support hardware.
