The 22.E4.T60-1001 is an electromagnetic compatibility filter produced by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed on the line side of variable-frequency drives, the device suppresses differential and common-mode noise so control cabinets can meet industrial emission limits. By providing a controlled impedance path, the module reduces high-frequency currents returning through the plant ground network, helping servo amplifiers, PLC I/O, and fieldbus nodes operate without disturbance. It is intended for drive systems where longer motor cables can increase conducted interference.
It is an HF Filter, which means its internal inductors and capacitors are arranged to attenuate switching harmonics generated above 150 kHz by modern IGBT inverters. The filter can carry a continuous line current of 150 A, so it suits medium-power drives and multi-motor groups without saturating the magnetic cores. Input conductors may present up to 3 × 480 V (+5%), allowing stable operation when the utility voltage rises under light load. The unit supports 3-phase operation for balanced suppression on all line conductors. During operation, the iron and dielectric components dissipate 60 W, so panel airflow must carry away that heat to maintain acceptable internal temperatures.
Copper conductors sized at 3 × 35 mm² can be routed from the inverter to the filter's M8 output studs, helping keep voltage drop within recommended limits. On the supply side, it accepts mains leads of 3 × 50 mm² that fit the identical M8 input terminals, which simplifies busbar or cable preparation inside the enclosure. The steel housing measures 64 mm deep, 270 mm high, and 400 mm long, so it can fit across the width of a standard 600 mm switchgear backplate while leaving room for cable bending radius. With a mass of 9.0 kg, the unit requires solid mounting brackets while remaining practical for cabinet assembly.
