Product Description:
The 20.E6.T60-1050 is an electromagnetic compatibility line filter produced by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Positioned between a frequency inverter and the mains supply, the component suppresses conducted interference so that drives, sensors, and PLCs can share a stable power network. By limiting high-frequency disturbance currents, the filter contributes to reliable motor control and helps adjacent automation equipment operate within prescribed emission limits.
The filter is designed for a rated line voltage of 400 V and carries a continuous phase current of 82 A at that voltage. If the upstream voltage increases to 480 V, the permissible steady-state current decreases to 72 A because of the additional dielectric stress on the capacitive network. For transients lasting up to 60 seconds, the device tolerates 150% of its nominal load, providing a margin for motor inrush conditions without saturation. The internal components are rated for Overvoltage Category III, allowing them to withstand surges found in industrial distribution systems. The assembly has a prospective short-circuit current rating of 30 kA for coordination with upstream protective equipment. During normal operation, the filter releases 82 W of heat, which should be considered when planning airflow within the control cabinet.
With a C1 configuration, the permissible motor-side cable length is 50 m, while the C2 arrangement supports a cable length of 100 m. These cable limits allow the filter to maintain the required attenuation when used with different drive installations. Upstream protection should be provided by a fuse rated at 100 A to match the filter’s thermal withstand capacity. Earth leakage is limited to 2.1 mA, allowing use with residual-current devices that have suitable selective trip thresholds. The metal enclosure measures 390 mm wide, 405 mm high, and 125 mm deep, and the complete assembly weighs 6.45 kg, making it suitable for direct mounting in medium-sized control cabinets.
