Product Description:
The 20.E5.T60-1002 is a three-phase EMC line filter produced by KEB and supplied within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between the mains and a variable-frequency drive or servo amplifier, the unit attenuates high-frequency interference so that connected machinery meets electromagnetic compatibility limits on industrial plant floors. By limiting differential and common-mode noise, it protects adjacent control electronics and helps prevent conducted emissions from propagating back onto the facility power network. This arrangement also helps keep nearby PLCs, sensors, and communication circuits from being disturbed by switching noise generated by the drive system.
The filter carries a continuous rating of 100 A, letting it handle high-power inverters without saturation. Its input terminals accept up to 3 × 480 V (+10%) across three phases and protective earth, so it suits common 460 V networks. Operation stays stable at 50/60 Hz ±2, supporting equipment used in different regional power systems. Thermal design allows ambient air up to 45 °C without derating. Dielectric integrity between each phase and PE is verified at 2700 VDC, and an additional 800 VDC test between phases checks insulation separation. The three-phase-plus-PE layout applies the same filtering path across each conductor for balanced attenuation.
Series conductors add only 0.003 Ω/phase, so insertion does not cause significant voltage drop. Internal chokes and capacitors dissipate about 30 W during full-load filtering. Normal earth leakage is 15 mA, with an upper limit of 118 mA at maximum voltage. The housing measures 445 mm tall, 300 mm wide, and 75 mm deep, and the unit weighs 8 kg, permitting direct backplate mounting. The compact form helps the filter fit inside drive cabinets, and ventilation slots support natural convection without requiring forced airflow.
