Product Description:
The 20.E4.T60-1001 is an electromagnetic compatibility line filter produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between the mains supply and a variable-frequency drive or servo amplifier, the unit attenuates conducted interference so that surrounding equipment can meet industrial emission limits. By reducing high-frequency noise moving back toward the grid, the filter helps protect sensors, control electronics, and communication buses inside automated machinery.
It is designed for 3-Phase AC networks and tolerates supply frequencies of 50/60 Hz within a ±10% window, matching the outputs of most industrial inverters. The filter is rated for 400/480 V AC, and its internal conductors can continuously carry 110 A before temperature rise exceeds intended operating limits. Power dissipated as heat is limited to 60 W, so cabinet ventilation only needs to remove a modest thermal load. Leakage current toward protective earth remains at 48 mA, which affects residual-current device sizing. Connection lugs accept a single 50 mm² conductor per pole, and the three-wire topology simplifies routing when the supply has no neutral. A C1 suppression degree indicates the attenuation curve achieved when the drive is connected to motor cables up to 30 m.
For transient conditions, the device withstands a line potential of 528 V AC, providing headroom when regenerative drives momentarily raise bus voltage. Physical integration is straightforward; the steel enclosure stands 270 mm high, extends 64 mm deep, and spans 419 mm across the mounting plane. The total weight is 8.5 kg, which is substantial enough to reflect the current-handling components inside the housing. The steel enclosure also supports secure cabinet mounting while helping protect the internal filter elements during installation and operation.
