Product Description:
The 18.E6.T60-7B00 is an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filter manufactured by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. The unit is installed between an inverter and its power supply. It attenuates conducted electrical noise so variable-speed drives can meet applicable emission limits. This filtering also reduces interference that could affect nearby sensors, controllers, and communication lines in automated plants.
The filter can continuously carry 65 A, allowing it to serve medium-power drives without excessive electrical loading. Leakage current is limited to 3 mA, helping residual-current devices operate selectively within the electrical system. The filter dissipates 27 W during operation, and cabinet airflow must remove this heat to keep the internal capacitors within their permitted operating temperature. Input and output leads connect to copper bars that accommodate conductors with a cross-sectional area of 25 mm², providing low-resistance connections for flexible or rigid cables. When the downstream motor cable uses an RFI shield, the filter supports a cable length of up to 100 m under the C2 limit; installations with unshielded terminations are restricted to 50 m under the C1 guideline. The chassis has 9 mm mounting holes for common M8 hardware, while the baseplate uses a 100 mm by 220 mm mounting pattern for direct attachment to a cabinet back panel.
The filter has a width of 130 mm, a height of 240 mm, and a depth of 142 mm. These dimensions allow installation in standard 300 mm deep enclosures while leaving room for the required bending radii of the attached conductors. The unit has a mass of 3.6 kg, which must be included when calculating the cabinet panel load and selecting mounting hardware. Its rigid chassis supports secure vertical installation on a back panel and helps the assembly withstand vibration during normal machine operation.
