Product Description:
The 18.E6.T60-4100 is an EMC filter produced by KEB as part of the Combiline EMC Filters series. Placed on the line side of variable-frequency drives, it suppresses high-frequency noise that can propagate through power cabling and disturb sensors, PLCs, and neighboring drives. By providing attenuation on all three conductors, the filter helps industrial installations comply with EN 61800-3 limits for conducted emissions and helps protect drive electronics from line-borne disturbances. Because it is installed ahead of the drive, it reduces noise before that interference can return to the supply or couple into adjacent control wiring. This is useful in cabinets where power components and low-level signal circuits are mounted close together.
This model is rated for continuous line currents up to 65 A, so it can be paired with medium-power inverters without exceeding thermal limits. The input network may operate at a nominal line of 400/480 VAC and is intended for power systems rated at 50/60 Hz ±10%. For transient conditions, the filter withstands line surges up to 550 V without dielectric breakdown. Internal copper coils and capacitors generate a heat load of only 50 W, keeping cabinet temperatures manageable during normal operation. This operating range allows the unit to serve common three-phase industrial supplies without a separate input conditioning stage. Electromagnetic performance is classified as C2, indicating suitability for industrial environments when the installation uses shielded motor cables and proper grounding techniques.
The filter supports motor leads up to 300 m long, limiting reflected-wave stress on remote machines. Busbars accept conductors with a cross-section of 16 mm², and the terminal layout follows a 4-Wire system that includes a dedicated protective earth. The dedicated protective-earth path helps route high-frequency interference away from sensitive control circuits during drive operation. Leakage current remains below <3 mA, allowing ground-fault monitors to operate without nuisance trips. The enclosure measures 200 mm deep, 80 mm wide, and 385 mm high, dimensions that fit standard control panels while maintaining the clearance required for heat dissipation. A mass of 4.7 kg allows DIN-rail or back-plate mounting where panel space is limited. The housing also leaves room for cable bends and airflow in tightly arranged control sections.
