Product Description:
KEB’s 18.E6.T60-3050 belongs to the Combiline EMC Filters series and is designed to attenuate conducted interference on the mains side of three-phase variable-speed drives and power converters. By inserting this filter between the supply and a drive, plant builders can meet stringent electromagnetic compatibility targets without altering the inverter. The unit is intended for IT mains networks found in industrial automation, where it isolates unwanted high-frequency noise while carrying the load current of the connected motion system. This arrangement helps prevent switching noise generated by the drive from traveling through the power distribution system and affecting nearby equipment.
The filter supports a short-term overload of 150 % for 60 seconds, providing additional capacity during inrush or regenerative events. It complies with EMC limit class C1, which applies to equipment installed in residential or light-industrial areas. Leakage current is limited to 1.57 mA, helping minimize current imbalance through the protective-earth connection. Continuous phase current is rated at 65 A with a maximum line-to-line voltage of 400 V on a three-phase supply. Power dissipation is limited to 27 W at nominal load, allowing the filter to operate in a drive enclosure without active cooling. The resulting heat must be considered when determining enclosure ventilation and spacing around adjacent components.
Input conductors connect to a terminal strip with a maximum tightening torque of 2.6 Nm. The side-mount housing can be secured flat against a panel, conserving cabinet depth and keeping the power connections accessible. For installations subject to UL 508A requirements, the filter has a current rating of 52 A at 480 V. A dedicated M6 protective-earth bolt provides the grounding connection, and its required clamping torque is 14.2 Nm for secure electrical bonding. The assembly has a transport mass of 3.9 kg, which should be considered when selecting the mounting surface and fasteners. Clear connection markings support orderly routing of the supply, load, and grounding conductors during installation and inspection.
