The 18.E6.T60-1050 is a three-phase electromagnetic compatibility filter manufactured by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between a variable-frequency drive and the plant mains, it attenuates common-mode and differential-mode noise so that adjacent equipment can meet industrial emission limits. The unit is sized for drive housing class 3 and connects through spring-loaded terminals, allowing quick insertion during panel assembly. By limiting high-frequency interference, it helps automation systems comply with EMC directives without requiring changes to drive firmware or motor cable layouts.
At a nominal line voltage of 400 V, the filter carries up to 59 A continuously on each conductor of a three-phase supply. Internal cores dissipate only 40 W under the rated load, so panel ventilation requirements remain modest. Leakage to protective earth is limited to 2.1 mA, permitting use on networks with sensitive residual-current devices. The spring-loaded terminals accept 16 mm² output conductors, and the matching input circuit should be protected by an 80 A IEC gL/gG fuse. Four M6 mounting holes in the base plate secure the assembly directly to busbar supports. The mechanical outline matches drive housing size 3, aligning its depth and airflow paths with the associated inverter.
During short transients, the line voltage can rise to 550 V without jeopardizing insulation. The filter continues to deliver a continuous current of 48 A when the network operates at 480 V. During 60-second surge events, it withstands a 150% overload, giving drives additional current capacity for acceleration or regeneration bursts. Motor leads up to 50 m in category C1 or 100 m in category C2 can be connected without exceeding the attenuation range. The unit has a total mass of 5.50 kg, allowing it to be mounted on DIN shelves or directly on enclosure walls without additional framing.
