The 16.E5.T60-10F1 is a three-phase electromagnetic compatibility filter produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. The component is wired between the plant’s supply network and a frequency converter to attenuate differential and common-mode noise that can disrupt automation equipment. Its role is to keep conducted emissions below legal limits so that motor drives, PLC racks, and measurement devices can operate in the same cabinet without mutual interference while still allowing full power transfer to the load.
It is designed for line voltages up to 400/480 V AC, and its bus bars can carry a continuous current of 43 A without exceeding thermal limits. Compatibility with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz grids is indicated by the 50/60 Hz frequency rating, so the same unit can be used on global installations. The assembly is classified in EMC category C1, meaning it suppresses emissions to levels suitable for residential or light industrial environments.
