The compact metal enclosure is intended for cabinet mounting and meets UL open-type requirements, so it is suited for installation inside a protected electrical enclosure.
On the power side, the filter is rated for continuous currents up to 50 A, which allows it to work with mid-range drives without excessive thermal load. It is intended for line voltages of 3 x 480 V AC, matching common North American three-phase supplies used in industrial control cabinets. The terminals accept a three-phase input, so each phase passes through its own suppression network to help preserve phase balance and consistent filtering behavior. Attenuation is maintained on utility systems operating at 50/60 Hz, which allows the same filter to be used on either standard frequency without changing the installation concept.
A leakage or discharge current of 30 mA flows through the internal capacitors, so any upstream protective device must be selected with that current in mind. The line side accepts copper conductors up to 3 x AWG 6, while the inverter side is sized for 4 x AWG 8; this split supports practical cabinet routing while keeping the drive connection compact. With a mass of 3.2 kg, the assembly remains relatively easy to position on a panel or mounting surface. The difference between the line-side and inverter-side conductor capacities also helps match typical supply wiring on one side and shorter drive leads on the other.
