Internal Product Review
The 15.E4.T60-3A01 is a KEB Combiline EMC filter that feels well suited for drive installations requiring clean line conditioning. Class A compliance to EN 55011 gives the unit a reassuringly application-ready EMC profile for standard industrial panels. A 460 V rating paired with 30 A current capacity makes this filter a strong choice for mid-range power circuits.

Product Description:
The 15.E4.T60-3A01 is a line-side electromagnetic interference filter built by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between the AC supply and an inverter or servo drive, the unit suppresses conducted noise that could disturb nearby equipment and helps the power stage meet industrial emission limits. By limiting high-frequency differential-mode and common-mode currents, it contributes to stable operation in automation lines and protects sensitive control electronics that share the same supply network. Its line-side placement prevents unwanted electrical noise from traveling through connected power circuits.
The filter is designed for three-phase grids operating at up to 460 V. Its nominal load capacity supports a continuous line current of 30 A without exceeding thermal limits. Incoming and outgoing terminals accept copper conductors with a cross-sectional area of 10 mm², providing low connection resistance for the supported current range. Electromagnetic performance is rated as Class A under the radiated and conducted limits of EN 55011, making the component suitable for industrial areas rather than residential locations. During operation, it returns only 30 mA of leakage current to ground, helping reduce nuisance tripping of residual-current devices while maintaining effective common-mode attenuation. Internal inductors and capacitors dissipate 18 W at rated load, so the cabinet must provide enough ventilation to remove the generated heat.
The enclosure measures 270 mm in height, 50 mm in width, and 90 mm in depth. These dimensions allow footprint or book-style mounting in compact control cabinets and support alignment with standardized DIN rail spacing. With a mass of 1.8 kg, the unit can be mounted without additional lifting equipment, while its steel housing provides the rigidity required near high-current connections. The three-wire topology routes all three phase conductors through the filter without including a neutral path, matching common three-phase motor feeds. Omitting the neutral connection simplifies wiring and reduces the number of internal components. This wiring arrangement also provides symmetrical attenuation across all phases.
