Product Description:
The 14.E6.T60-1050 is an electromagnetic interference filter produced by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Positioned between a frequency inverter and the AC mains, the device attenuates high-frequency noise so that drive installations meet EMC directives without disrupting nearby instrumentation. It is designed for automation cells that use medium-power motors and provides a straightforward wiring interface that fits inside standard control cabinets without requiring additional cooling hardware.
The filter is rated for a line voltage of 400 V and can carry up to 21 A of continuous current, making it suitable for the supply side of midsized inverters. It supports a three-phase network and tolerates a temporary overload of 150%, providing current headroom during motor acceleration. Heat generated by core and capacitor losses is limited to 22 W, allowing installation in densely packed panels. Spring-loaded terminals accept stranded wire, so flexible leads can be connected quickly and held securely during operation. Two M6 threaded inserts provide mounting points that allow the assembly to be attached firmly to a metal backplate without additional brackets.
For protection coordination, the upstream fuse may be rated up to 25 A, while current leakage to protective earth is limited to 2.1 mA to reduce nuisance tripping of residual-current devices. Permissible motor cable length depends on the switching frequency and electromagnetic compatibility class: the limit is 50 m for C1 operation at 4 kHz, 50 m for C2 operation at 16 kHz, and 100 m for C2 operation at 4 kHz. A load-side wire cross section of 6 mm² provides sufficient current capacity without excessive heating. The housing weighs 2.05 kg, adding little mass to wall-mounted enclosures and allowing the cabinet sheet metal to support the unit without reinforcement.
