Product Description:
KEB manufactures the 14.E5.T60-10F1, an electromagnetic compatibility filter in the Combiline EMC Filters series. The device is installed between a three-phase drive and the mains supply to attenuate conducted noise. This helps keep the installation within industrial emission limits while protecting nearby control electronics and fieldbus networks. It is intended for use where inverter-generated interference must be reduced before it reaches the supply network.
The filter carries a continuous load of 20 A while accepting line potentials of 400/480 V AC across its input terminals. It is designed for three-phase grids and maintains rated performance over a supply bandwidth of 50/60 Hz ±10%. Compliance with the stringent C1 suppression class means the unit limits high-frequency interference to levels suitable for residential as well as industrial environments. The permissible motor-side cable length reaches 10 m, allowing placement of the inverter and motor at a moderate distance without excessive leakage current. Internal construction limits power loss to 14 W during nominal operation, and leakage current to 4 mA, keeping touch current below safety thresholds. Maximum input voltage tolerance extends to 528 V AC, so the filter remains effective during short overvoltage events common on lightly regulated factory feeders.
The steel housing is size D and measures 352 mm high, 132 mm wide, and 50 mm deep. Total mass is 1.5 kg, which keeps panel loading modest for a mains-side filter of this rating. Spring clamp blocks accept conductors up to 6 mm², matching the current rating without requiring oversized wiring or additional terminal adapters. Heat is removed by natural convection when installation clearance is maintained around the housing, so airflow paths should not be blocked by adjacent components. The steel enclosure also provides a rigid mounting structure that supports stable grounding and orderly cable routing inside the cabinet.
