Product Description:
The 13.E5.T60-1001 is an EMC line filter manufactured by KEB and assigned to the Combiline EMC Filters series. Placed at the input of a variable-speed drive, it attenuates differential and common-mode noise so surrounding equipment meets emission limits and the connected motor receives a cleaner supply. The device contains differential inductors and capacitors arranged to block high-frequency harmonics produced by pulse-width-modulated inverters, and it is suited for the three-phase networks typically used on conveyors, pumps, and process machinery.
Electrically, the filter conducts up to 16 A of phase current while introducing just 0.012 Ω/phase of series resistance, which helps minimize voltage drop and conduction losses. It operates on 50/60 Hz networks and tolerates line potentials up to 528 VAC. Because the windings are symmetrical, the unit can be wired in any phase sequence without altering its impedance, and the low resistance helps keep internal temperature rise moderate. For insulation integrity, each assembly is held for 2 seconds at 800 VDC phase-to-phase and 2700 VDC phase-to-earth. The screw terminals accept conductors up to 4 mm² / AWG 10, and the EMC classification C1 [B] indicates that the filter is intended for first-environment installations close to the mains entry.
During normal operation, the filter dissipates 11.5 W, and its capacitors create a leakage of 20 mA to earth; phase-to-earth displacement can reach 117 mA under worst-case conditions. The housing measures 88 × 285 × 40 mm and weighs 1.3 kg, so the unit fits into compact cabinet layouts without sacrificing access to the terminals. Continuous service is allowed in rooms up to 45 °C without derating, and motor leads may extend to 30 m while maintaining the stated attenuation. Mounting slots are built into the base plate, and unobstructed airflow should be provided to avoid localized hot spots.
