Product Description:

KEB’s 12.E6.T60-3050 electromagnetic compatibility filter belongs to the Combiline EMC Filters series. Designed for cabinet installation in industrial automation systems, the device is placed on the line side of an inverter or servo drive to suppress conducted noise and prevent interference from propagating back into the facility’s supply network. By reducing differential-mode and common-mode emissions, the filter helps machines comply with conducted-emission limits and supports the stable operation of nearby sensors, PLCs, and communication equipment.

The filter has a rated voltage of 400 V and can continuously carry up to 12 A on each conductor. Because it accepts a three-phase supply, the component fits standard industrial feeders. The acceptable input ranges from a minimum of 300 V to a maximum of 528 V, covering typical 380 V to 500 V grids. Compliance with EMC limit class C1 supports installations that must meet stringent emission requirements for drives with motor cables shorter than 20 m. Connection to protective earth is made through an M4 screw, while spring-loaded terminals simplify power-lead wiring. The filter mounts on the side of a panel rail using compatible KEB side-mount hardware. It is intended for IT mains systems in which the neutral conductor is not solidly grounded.

For transient conditions such as startup inrush, the design tolerates an overload of 180 % for 60 seconds without thermal damage. Steady-state leakage current to ground is limited to 1.85 mA, which supports use with common protective devices. Internal copper windings and ferrites produce only 8 W of power dissipation at the rated load, helping limit heat buildup inside the enclosure. With a mass of 0.8 kg, the filter adds minimal weight to wall-mounted drive assemblies while providing the inductive and capacitive elements needed to attenuate high-frequency currents across the stated voltage range.
