Product Description:
The 10.E5.T60-A0F1 is a single-phase electromagnetic interference filter produced by KEB within the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed on the line side of a drive controller, the component suppresses high-frequency noise and limits differential as well as common-mode currents that would otherwise propagate along the supply conductors. By providing a controlled impedance path, the filter helps inverter-fed motors meet CE and regional EMC limits, reduces radiated emissions, and protects neighboring sensors or communication cables from conducted disturbances present in automated production lines.
During operation the filter accepts 1 x 240 VAC +10% and carries up to 20 A of line current suitable for compact inverters. A leakage current of 23 mA flows to protective earth, so grounding conductors must be sized for safety. The network frequency window of 50/60 Hz ±2 supports international use. Internal impedance causes a voltage drop of 16 V, a value to consider when choosing upstream contactors, while 20 W of input power loss is released as heat inside the panel. The 10 mm conductor strip length simplifies cable preparation. For pulse-width-modulated outputs the unit tolerates carrier frequencies to 16 kHz and voltage edges up to 500 V/µs without saturating its inductive elements.
The downstream connection is dimensioned for motors up to 2.2 kW, with a continuous phase output of 10 A, ensuring the filter remains within its thermal envelope when the drive delivers full torque. Acceptable ambient air around the housing may reach 45 °C, consistent with climatic class 3K3, and the open-style terminals are sheltered by an IP20 enclosure to prevent accidental contact yet allow convection cooling. A maximum inverter fundamental of 1600 Hz can pass through without excessive insertion loss, and the assembly’s 1.3 kg mass keeps panel load low during DIN-rail or back-plate mounting.
